ALAN GIBBS - CHAIRMAN / SECRETARY / CHILD WELFARE OFFICER

PAUL SHACKLETON - VICE CHAIRMAN
Telephone No : Email Address : Notes : When invited to get more involved with the running of the club back in 2007 I happily agreed, I know that clubs and organisations like Pegasus only progress or survive if individuals volunteer, so I had little hesitation stepping forward to support the football club when asked.
Welwyn Pegasus FC is always looking for more support, I believe the club is going from strength to strength so I would suggest to anybody thinking of offering help, please come and get involved.
MOYA GORDON - SOCIAL SECRETARY
Telephone No : Email Address : Notes : I know very little about football but am passionate about my children and football is the love of my son’s life, this is why I took on the task of social secretary, Welwyn Pegasus FC has some fantastic plans for the future and I want to help make these plans happen so my task is to help the club develop the social side, both for the children and for the parents, and if we can raise as much money as possible in the process it will benefit all our children!
I can’t do this alone so will always welcome help from other parents, be it on the social committee or just coming up with fresh fun ideas for raising money!

MIKE BEARMAN - SPONSORSHIP MANAGER
Telephone No : 07899926556Email Address : m.bearman@sapienza.co.ukNotes : Having three kids all playing sport it was natural for me to one day get involved with a sports club. However playing tennis and squash for most of my life it's strange to end up being on the committee of a football club!
My son is a fanatic football supporter and plays for the Pegasus under 11 team. His elder sister has been training with the Pegasus girls Under 13 for most of the season. They have both got a lot out of the club so I think it fair that I try to put something back. My aim for the club is to secure sponsors from both local and corporate companies in order to allow the club to developer into a local centre of excellence for football in the community.
Any help on this gladly welcomed! ADAM TRIGG - CHILD WELFARE OFFICER
Telephone No : Email Address : Notes : I played football for Welwyn Pegasus as a child and I was keen to get involved when my son started training for Welwyn Pegasus. My day to day job involves designing houses and leisure facilities so when I heard of the plans for the clubs development centre I was keen to get involved further.
I also went to Monks Walk school as a child and I am determined to ensure that any new facilities built on the site are as well planned and designed as possible.
IAN PRIOR - TOURNAMENT MANAGER
Telephone No : Email Address : Notes : I first got involved with Welwyn Pegasus in 2007, when my eldest son wanted to play for a team and I, along with Phil Rands, ended up running the side.
Right from the start I could see that the club had great ambition to become a big part of the local community, I want to help bring these dreams to reality not just for the players with the club at the moment, but for those players of the future. If this means me giving up a few days & evenings during the year to help organise/support events then I consider it a small price to pay if it ensures that there is a well run, well organised, well respected club that benefits the community. MICK NASH - REFEREE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Telephone No : 07546 288128Email Address : Notes : I first qualified as a referee back in 1976 with the Welwyn Hatfield Sunday league. I spent many years rising through the refereeing levels to achieve level 5 status. During that time my officiating duties covered the South Midlands League and the Herts Senior County League who both awarded me long service medals, I have also supported the Mid Herts League in recent seasons.
Part of my career was spent as Secretary and Treasurer of Welwyn Garden Utd FC who were based at the Gosling Stadium. I am now looking forward to the challenge of working with Welwyn Pegasus FC to develop the referees within the club. To further support grass roots football I have also applied to the Herts FA to become a referee assessor. I have a valid CRB certificate for 3 years. |
